Use gjAero to create and manage your recipes for creating the perfect AeroPress© brew every time.
gjAero is the ideal companion for your AeroPress. Creating your ideal brew is easy:
- Select your recipe.
- Choose your preferred coffee beans and grind size.
- Heat the water to your required temperature.
- Follow the app’s instructions to add water, stir, steep, and press.
- Enjoy the perfect cup of coffee every time.
Not sure what recipe to use? Start off by trying the 2 default recipes suplied with the app; the Classic and the Inverted. Not completely happy with the results? Don’t worry, you can edit and tweak them to your personal preference.
Looking for more recipe insipration? Head over to AeroPrecipe where you will find all sorts of recipes that you can add to your collection.
Every recipe has a notes field where you can save grind size, coffee and water amounts, attribution, tasting notes etc. It’s a free-form text field so you can save anything you like in it.
App usage notes:
- Rearrange the order of your recipes by tapping Edit on the recipe list screen and dragging them to the required order on the Edit Recipes screen.
- Use the Settings screen to specify the number of columns displayed on the recipe list screen.
- Add new recipes in the Edit Recipes screen.
- Delete recipes from the Edit Recipes screen.
- A Load default recipes option is displayed when all recipes have been deleted.
- Specify the app’s theme colour in the Settings screen.
- Specify the the countdown timer sound and volume in the Settings screen.

Information
No personal information or location data are collected.
We use TelemetryDeck to collect anonymized usage data. This helps us understand how our users are using our app and how we can improve it. TelemetryDeck does not collect any personally identifiable information. You can read more about TelemetryDeck’s privacy policy here.
The usage data are not used for marketing, tracking, advertisement or anything alike.
Local Storage
Your recipes are always saved locally on your device. This allows you to access your recipes even if iCloud access is not available. Your recipes will remain on your device until you delete them within the app, or you delete the app from your device.
